For the adults

We believe that the “the word of God is alive and active” (Hebrews 4. 12) and that “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness”. (2 Timothy 3. 16)

Bible studies

We encourage participation in Small Group Bible Studies so that we can continue to grow as disciples of Jesus, supporting, encouraging and spurring each other guided by God’s Word and Spirit.

There are a number of small groups meeting each week. Please contact the parish office or talk to one of the church leaders to find a group that suits you.

Courses

We run other courses through the year to grow our love for, and introduce others to Jesus.

These include talks by guest speakers, Lenten Studies and introducing Jesus classes.

Aged care Services

Meets frequently at various Aged Care facilities around Dubbo. Please contact the office for a list of locations, dates and times.

Elders Outreach

Meets every Tuesday during the school term, in the Church Hall.  The Elders have guest speakers during the year as well as visits from health professionals and a massage therapist.  Besides  fellowship they also enjoy craft, sewing and day trips. They are provided with morning tea and lunch each week.

Support the parish

And now, brothers and sisters, we want you to know about the grace that God has given the Macedonian churches.  In the midst of a very severe trial, their overflowing joy and their extreme poverty welled up in rich generosity. For I testify that they gave as much as they were able, and even beyond their ability. Entirely on their own, they urgently pleaded with us for the privilege of sharing in this service to the Lord’s people.  And they exceeded our expectations: They gave themselves first of all to the Lord, and then by the will of God also to us.

(2 Corinthians 8:1-5)

The easiest way to give to our ministry is to set up regular, secure payments to our Parish bank account:

During our Sunday gatherings, cash may be left in the collection bowl in building.

Support Our Student Minister

There are many pathways into ministry in the Bathurst Diocese, and while unusual, this is one of them: Justin (and Alysha and family) is a part-time Student Minister at Dubbo Parish, a part-time student at Bible college.

Justin is working with children and youth and is training in preaching, leading services, pastoral work, evangelism and other ministry.

Will you support Justin as he trains alongside Andrew Thornhill to SHARE JESUS for LIFE?
